Terre Haute, Indiana - TERRE HAUTE - Julie Ann Wassill, 51, of Terre Haute, IN, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Julie was born to Frank and Jean Hines on March 31, 1974, in Terre Haute. She went on to graduate from North Vigo High School in 1993 and received her associate's degree in child development from St. Mary-of-the-Woods. She worked at the Kids Zone and later at the Hamilton Learning Center.
She was the biggest animal lover, and loved flowers and being outside. She had the biggest heart and was willing to help anyone in need. She truly never knew a stranger. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Julie is survived by her husband John Wassill, mother (Doris) Jean Hines (Greenlee), brother Robert L. Hines, sister Carol Archer (Gene), and a large extended family.
She is preceded in death by her father Frank Hines, sister Francis Crabb, and her grandparents William and Flora Greenlee.
A visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home with services to follow.
