MECCA-Judy Sanders, 67, of Mecca, Indiana passed away at 2 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at the family residence. She retired from Eli Lilly and Company Clinton Laboratories with 30 years of service. She was born July 13, 1951, in Clinton, Indiana to the late Max Taylor and Maxine Purcell Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Sanders, on June 24, 2018.
Survivors include her children, Jenny (Brian) Benjamin of Mecca, Jeremy (Emily) Bettis of Bloomington and Jason Bettis of Mecca; two sisters, Barbara (Don) Graves of Mecca and Joyce (Bill) Prouse of Clinton; eight grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
She was a 1969 graduate of Montezuma High School. She was a member of the Mecca Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Honoring her request there will be no services. Memorials, should friends so desire, may be made to the Mecca A.R.A.B.S., 4958 College Street, Mecca, IN 47860 in her memory.
