BRAZIL - Judith Anne Pippin, 88, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Gibson Hospice Center in Terre Haute.

She was born on February 25, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Frank and Verna (Bailey) Horn. Judy graduated from Garfield High School in Terre Haute, and went on to marry Pastor Richard V. Pippin. They were members of the Peniel United Methodist Church.

Judy could usually be found caring for the children, or with Richard assisting him with church duties. In her free time she enjoyed her house plants, dancing, her pets, and spending time with her family. She was a music lover, and devoted fan of the Brazil Concert Band.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Randall Pippin; daughter, Darla Larsen; and her brother, Frank Horn.

Survivors include her daughters Rene (Lee) Goddard and Sylvia Jameson; sons, Richard (Jeanette) Pippin and Charles (Nina) Pippin; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with Judy's cremation arrangements. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
