West Terre Haute, Indiana - WEST TERRE HAUTE - Juanita Dian Laing, 85 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 in her residence.

She was born in Terre Haute on May 24, 1940 to Fred Miller and Mary Worrell Miller.

Juanita worked at Reuben H. Donnelley as a secretary and was a member of West Side Christian Church.

Juanita is survived by her husband of 61 years, John A. Laing, Sr.; as well as two children, Jane Ann Laing and John A. Laing, Jr. She is also survived by two grandsons, Anthony Laing and Hunter Laing, her brother Fred Miller (wife Carol); and brother-in-law Robert DisPennett; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; as well as four sisters: Betty Hyde, Marilyn Slater, Carolyn Sue DisPennett, and twin sister Anita Miller.

Funeral services will be held at West Side Christian Church, 126 N. 8th St., West Terre Haute, IN on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at 2:30 PM, with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday from 12:30-2:30 PM in the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to West Side Christian Church.
