Joseph Leon Hann Obituary

Joseph Leon Hann, 82, of Tyler, Texas passed away on November 27, 2022.

He was born in Mecca, Indiana on December 31, 1940, to Fred R. Hann Sr., and Dorrie Wilburn Hann.

Leon was a member of the Independent Baptist Church in Montezuma and the Montezuma Fish and Game Club. Leon was an avid fisherman and enjoyed bowling.

Those preceding Leon in death are his parents; wife Lucinda Ann Hutson Hann; six brothers; and five sisters.

Survivors include his son Leon Scott Hann of Lindale, Texas; daughter Shannon Denise Hann of Illinois; grandchildren Gregory, Joseph "Joey," Joseph, Victoria, and Kendall; great-grandchildren Presleigh and Lawsyn; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service on Monday, July 24, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel at Oakland Cemetery in Montezuma, Indiana. Cremains burial will follow the service. Online condolences and fond memories may be shared at:
