BRAZIL - Joseph R. Davidson, Jr., passed away on January 11, 2021 at Hudsonwood in Brazil, Indiana.
He was born on November 25, 1944 in Jasonville, Indiana, the son of Joseph Roscoe Davidson and Josephine May (Keller) Davidson.
Joe graduated from Van Buren High School with the class of 1963. He served his country honorably in the Indiana National Guard from 1963 to 1969. He married Patricia Ter Meer on April 9, 1977. He was the owner of Davidson Construction Company. He and his wife Pat founded Wapiti River Association in 1983.
He loved hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and playing Poker. He also loved spending time with family and friends.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Clarence E. Caddell, beloved wife Pat Davidson, son Joe "Joey" Davidson II, and sisters Mary Farris and Jody Lawson.
His memory will be cherished by his brother Clarence E. "Clyde" Caddell Jr.; sisters: Ruth Brush (Jim), Ellen Bowling (Don), and Annie Rainbolt (Randy); 3 stepsons Mike, Nathan, and Joel Ter Meer; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
At Joe's request cremation was chosen. There will be a memorial at a later date.
