Joice Robert Auterson, 75, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at Clinton Gardens. Joice was born in Terre Haute, on July 27, 1941, the son of the late Norman Jackson Auterson and Sadie Irene (Miller) Forker.
Mr. Auterson was retired from the Bemis Corporation. He was a HAM radio operator, an automobile enthusiast restoring several cars and a United States Marine Corps veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Alice F. (Brewer) Auterson; children, Robert (Tina) Auterson, Belinda Auterson, Chris (Mark) Kester, Mark (Kim) Auterson and Melissa (Brian) Steward; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; siblings, Norma (Allen) Anderson, Gary Henderson (Sandra), John Henderson, and James (Michelle) Forker.
A celebration of life will be on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at Kings Harvest Four Square Church,1801 Harding Avenue, Terre Haute, 6 p.m. with Pastor Dennis L. Leek officiating.
