Terre Haute, Indiana - TERRE HAUTE - Johnine Rose Sutherland Mann, 85, passed away July 2, 2026, in her home surrounded by family. She was born June 17, 1941, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to John E. Sutherland and Blanch E. Cassagne Sutherland. Johnine graduated from Valley High School in 1959. She was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Auxiliary #6574. She loved to cook, sit outside and watch hummingbirds, and take care of her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a 69-year member of Bethany Church, in West Terre Haute. Her family and three children were her legacy. She was so proud of the happy relationships she had with the extended family and in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and in-laws, Art and Mary Mann.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James "Jim" Mann, sons, James Mann II (Eileen), and John Mann (Cherri), her daughter, Jaime Burson (Chris), grandchildren, Steven (Jennie), Zane (Abbey), Savannah (Ryan), Clae (Alex), and John Robert, great grandchildren, Kambri, Kolby, Kash, Arthur, Kalen, Elouise, Hazelynn, and Colson.

Services for Johnine will be Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana, 47885, with a visitation from 11 am until 1pm, funeral services will begin at 1 pm with Pastors Adin Rodgers and Steve Moore officiating. Private burial will take place afterwards. If friends so desire, contributions can be made to Bethany Church, or to a charity of choice; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
