Brazil, Indiana - John Wade Rushing, 64, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away on July 16, 2026. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, to John William Rushing and Alice Sarah (Compton) Rushing, on September 19, 1961. John was a huge Indianapolis Colts fan. He even earned recognition as an Ultimate fan, with having his name on display at Lucas Oil Stadium. John graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 1979. John was a longtime employee at Bemis in Terre Haute and also worked at Moore-Langen Printing for many years. He leaves behind a son John "Ryan" Rushing, two grandchildren and siblings Carrol Gates (David), Diana Rushing Williams (Mark), and Bruce Wiles. John was preceded in death by his parents. In honoring John's wishes, cremation has been chosen. A celebration of life will be held in August.
