Merom, IN - Jerry L. Pipkins, 86, passed away on April 5, 2026. He was born on November 28, 1939 in Neely, MS to Coley and Vava Pipkins. Jerry's dream was to own a business, and he was able to fulfil that dream through owning and operating Taco Casita since 1984. He also lived in the home he built for about 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and woodworking.

He is survived by his son William Pipkins (Connie), grandchildren Kayti (Jeremy Trowbridge), Cassie (Micah Ryan), Austen, Leigha, and Colton; seven great-grandchildren, brother Dan Pipkins, and sister Sharon Pipkins.

He is preceded in death by his wife Willy Pipkins, son Chris Pipkins, daughter Annette Jenkins, partner Jo Wordsworth, and both of his parents.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 1 pm to 2 pm at DeBaun Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 2 pm. Online condolences can be made at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
