Jennifer Yvonne Briggs, 74, of Casey, Ill., passed away at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Heartland Nursing Center, Casey. She was born Feb, 16, 1944, in Ipswich, Suffolk, England, the daughter of Verdun Gerald Collinson and Evelyn Dale Collinson.
On May 27, 1961, she married Warren Gale Briggs, in Rapid City, S.D. He passed away Jan. 6, 2018.
Survivors include sons, Wayne Briggs (Jessie Downey) of Terre Haute, Ind., and Todd Briggs of Casey; daughter, Debby Hutton (David) of Casey; sisters, Cynthia Bocsi (Mick) of Ipswich, Suffolk, England and Linda Perry (Keith) of Queensland, Australia; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her toy poodle, Bella, who was always with her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family funeral services will be conducted. Burial will follow in Butternut Cemetery, rural Martinsville, Ill.
