Terre Haute, Indiana - James (Jim) Fredrick O'Dell passed away on Nov. 7, 2018, at his home.

Jim was born in Vincennes, Ind., on July 31, 1940. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Clinton and Eleanor (Doll) O'Dell; and his brother, Clint O'Dell. Jim is survived by his wife, Roberta; his children, Kathy, Matt (Cindy), Mindy (Tony) and Scott (Julie); and stepchildren, Ryan and Ashley; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Mick O'Dell, Peggy Bullerdick and Patty Denman.

Jim loved to travel with his wife, hunt and fish with his sons, and play poker with friends. He was an avid and accomplished golfer, walking all 18 holes each time he played. In 1958, Jim was named a state wrestling champion while attending Crawfordsville High School. He retired from Old National Bank in 2005.

He was a loving husband, a proud "pap" and committed father who will be missed by so many.

A memorial celebration of Jim's Life will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018. Expressions of sympathy and fond memories may be shared at:
