James D. 'Jim' Jolly
TERRE HAUTE - James "Jim" Jolly, 77, of Terre Haute, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019. He was born December 3, 1942 to Warren and Helen (Stigdon) Jolly.
A graduate of Purdue University, he worked as an engineer for Lear Jet and Ford Motor Company. He was known for his witty comebacks and great sense of humor.
He is survived by his son Christopher Jolly; and three stepsons Robert Johnson, Greg Johnson and Kevin Johnson; as well as two grandchildren Gregg (Meagan) Jolly and Lyndsi Jolly. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon L. Jolly.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor John Thompson officiating. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at:

All the memories been through so much in our lives but smart man and genuine gracious to others you in a better place next to my mom I cared alot for you more than Chris that for sure wish i can be there but i visit soon look up in heaven to the skies above who u will see is your family with open arms follow his steps i to the gates of heaven the lord taketh u there to happiness and forgiveness no pain or suffering god bless tell mom I love her
