James Arthur Crumrin Obituary

Terre Haute, Indiana - MONTEZUMA - James "Jim" Arthur Crumrin, 67, of Montezuma, Indiana, peacefully passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born June 14, 1958 in Noblesville, Indiana to Ronald Crumrin and Jacquelyn Edwards Crumrin. He graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in 1976 and went on to serve as a Terre Haute Firefighter. He served as a firefighter with the Terre Haute Fire Department from August 1979 until his retirement in February 2012, totaling 33 years of service.

Jim enjoyed being outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, yard work, and fixing up cars.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years Sandra Crumrin; son Tyler Crumrin (Logan); daughter Laura Eddleman (Sam); grandchildren North Eddleman and Xander Eddleman; brothers Ronald Lee Crumin Jr. and Curtis Crumrin; sisters Peggy Wessol (John), Judith A. Sheldon (Bill), and Nicolette L. Crumrin; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ronald Lee Crumrin and Jacquelyn M. Crumrin (Edwards).

A public visitation will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 11AM to 1PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with services to immediately follow.
