EVANSVILLE - Jacqueline Francis Tincher, 90, of Evansville and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Cypress Grove Rehab Center in Newburgh. She was born on December 2, 1930, in High Coal, West Virginia to Jack Manuel and Violet Angeline (Paul) Spurpolas.
Jacqueline is survived by her sons, Wayne Tincher (Susan) of Evansville, Les Tincher (Lisa) of Terre Haute, and Randy Tincher (Sandy) of Terre Haute; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne A. Tincher; and a sister, Barbara Delancey.
Jacqueline worked for several years at Woolworth/Woolco. She enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family. She will be truly missed.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Lilly officiating. Jacqueline will be laid to rest next to her husband in Little Flock Cemetery in Shelburn. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at:
