Jacob Monroe Tucker, 33, formerly of Marshall, IL, died at his home in Indianapolis, IN on March 17, 2025.

He was born September 15, 1991 in Terre Haute, IN to Greg and Carol Tucker. Jake graduated in 2010 from Marshall High School and went on to graduate from Indiana State University where he studied Manufacturing and Packaging.

Jake is survived by his parents; grandparents, Albert and Linda Tucker; an uncle, Mike Jones (Lynn May); and an aunt, Yelonda (Darol) Harshman; and cousins, Kelley (James) Church, Dawn (Andy) Kelley, Tyler (Ashley) Harshman and Zach Harshman. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Bill and Lucy Jones; an aunt, Hazel Jones; and a cousin, Brian Jones.

In high school Jake played baseball, basketball and golf. He continued to be an avid sports fan, and enjoyed working out, watching movies and playing cards. He was a friend to many, old and new, and he'll be missed by his furry buddy, Omar.

A gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Marshall Golf Team.
