Iris Roxanna Gregory, 91, died peacefully surrounded by loving family on Sept. 21, 2016. Roxie was born Oct. 17, 1924, to Dewey Davis and Cecilia Drake Davis.

She married Keith Gregory March 22, 1941. Roxie was a homemaker and her most important job in life was being a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She and Keith used to love to go camping with friends and family. She was a 50-year-member of Bridgeton Order of the Eastern Star chapter 324. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister unnamed; infant brother, Arthur; infant twin sister, Rose Ann; her husband, Keith Gregory; her grandson, Michael Leitgabel; and son-in-law, Joe Darbutt.

She is survived by her children, Diana Darbutt, Barbara Leitgabel and Robert (Barb) Gregory; grandchildren, Lee Ann (DJ) Brubeck, Kevin (Robin) Lawson, David (Lisa) Leitgabel, Robert (Kim) Gregory, Treasea (David) Haney, and Beth (Tom) Vanatti; great-grandchildren, Levi Brubeck, Zachary Haney, Taylor Haney, Myley Haney, Maddie Lawson, Karlie Leitgabel, Brandon Haney, Klayton Lawson, Lorynn Leitgabel and Logan Leitgabel; special granddaughter, Maria (Matt) Schoenfeld; her sisters, Bonnie Hutchison and Nina (Andy) Clark; lifelong friend, Ann Haskett; and well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, at Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, 287 N. Main Street, Rosedale, with the Rev. Bill Herb officiating, Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 am until 1 p.m. Friday. The family is very grateful to Gentiva Hospice for granting her wish to be home.
