Terre Haute, IN - TERRE HAUTE - Iantha M. Adams, 92, of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 15, 1932, in Clark County, IL, to Linzy Leisure Mason and Bessie M. Persinger Mason Enyart. She married Alvin Joseph Adams and he preceded her in death on August 7, 2004.

Iantha is survived by her children: David J. Adams (Vicki) of Warrenville, IL; R. Neil Adams (Susan) of Saxon's River, VT; and Karen S. Adams of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Dana Lindley (Michelle Jenkins), Kayla S. Lawson (Drew), Leanne Adams-Knapp (Allan), and Kira Adams; and great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Lindley, Drew Lindley, Kaesen Lindley, Jude Roberts, and Llewyn Lawson; and a brother, Rodney Mason of Terre Haute.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Durham Mason, Earl Mason, Linzy Mason, Christine West, Helen Miller, Maxine Webster, Charlotte Collins, and Sarah Buchholz.

Iantha worked and retired from R.H. Donnelly after 31 years as a production coordinator. She was a Den Mother for Pack 13 and president of the PTA when her children were in school. She enjoyed travelling, reading, and doing genealogy research. A lifelong learner, she continued to take classes as an adult from math to auto mechanics, just to keep her mind active. Iantha continued the family tradition of the Memorial Day picnics and hikes at Turkey Run. She was a treasure that will be deeply missed.
