Cory, IN - CORY - Helen Eileen Warken-Andres, 90, of Cory, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her home the evening of Monday, June 2, 2025. Helen was born on January 29, 1935, in Prairieton, Indiana, to Phillip Merle Williams and Juanita (Campbell) Williams.

Helen was a graduate of Honey Creek High School, and married her first love Marvin Lee Warken on November 2, 1955. Together, they worked side-by-side to build the family farm raising crops, livestock and two children, John Warken and Sherra (Warken) Creed. Helen was devoted to her family, proud of her children and grandchildren, could outwork any man, and known to many for her skills in the kitchen. She was proud of her Cory community and could be seen selling divinity under the tree on the corner during the Cory Apple Festival. After Marvin's passing on December 22, 1997, Helen would meet her second love, Arlin Andres. Helen and Arlin were married on July 2, 2003, and spent many loving years together until her passing.

Helen is survived by her husband Arlin, her son John; grandchildren Matthew (Ruth) Creed and Allison (Justin) McKain; great-grandchildren Reese, Myles and Sadie Creed, Micah and Hayes McKain; sisters Mary Anne Salin, Norma Frazier; several nieces and nephews; and by Arlin's children and grandchildren, who loved and cared for her dearly in her later years.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; husband Marvin; daughter Sherra; son-in-law Randy Creed; brothers Benny Williams, Bobby Williams, Charles Williams, Donnie Williams, and Russell Williams; and sister Wilma Wright-Morge.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel. Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Larry Branham will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to:
