Brazil, Indiana - BRAZIL - Helen Lucille Anderson, 88, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away on August 17, 2025, while at Cloverleaf Nursing Home.

Helen was born on November 1, 1936, in Brazil, Indiana, the daughter of Benjamin and Nellie (Day) Brown. She married James Anderson on January 27, 1956. She worked as a Pharmaceutical Technician at CVS for over 40 years.

Helen enjoyed cooking, reading, going to yard sales, playing cards, and especially spending time with her family. She attended Grace Chapel.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents: Benjamin "Bennie" and Nellie Brown; husband James A. Anderson; sisters: Beulah "Midge" Metz and Sharron Nevins.

She is survived by her son James Anderson, Jr. and wife Tamera, and her daughter Lisa Orr and husband Mark; grandchildren: Kelsie Anderson, Kara Anderson (Jessica), and Kylee Orr (fiancé Nathan Smith); great-granddaughter Madeline Smith; siblings: Jack Brown (Jean), Bert Branson (Charles), Gib Brown (Kathleen), Don Brown, Gary Brown (Jeane), Bob Brown (Jean), Linda House, Connie Snow (Bill), and Joyce Bass (Paul); several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Memorial services for James and Helen will be at French Funeral Home, on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Services will be at the funeral home, on Friday, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Calcutta Cemetery.
