Harold L. Truelove Obituary

Harold L. Truelove, 86, of Marshall, IL passed away 4:20 PM Friday, June 3, 2022 at his home. He retired as self employed truck driver and had formerly farmed and been involved in dairy farming.

Harold was born Dec. 27, 1935 at Paris, IL, the son of Ralph and Violet Whitkanack Truelove.

On Dec. 12, 1954 he married Abbie Snedeker at the Asbury United Methodist Church, rural Marshall.

Surviving are his wife, Abbie; children, Tim (Tammy) Truelove, Teresa Wright and Noah Truelove of Marshall; grandchildren, Mandie Rinard, Lacey (John) Babcock, Eric Truelove, Mason Truelove, Jameson Truelove, Karsyn Truelove and Grayson Truelove; several great and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Eldena Lewis of Marshall.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Norman Truelove; and a son-in-law, Dennis Wright.

He was a member of the Marshall Church of the Nazarene and the American Dairyman's Association. He served this country in the US Air Force.

Services in honor of his life will be 10:30 AM Wednesday at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Romine officiating. Burial will be in the Darwin Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Veteran's Home at Hutsonville, IL.
