Gregory Lee "Hump" Humphrey, 52, of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 6:46 a.m. EDT Monday, March 16, 2020, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel, Indiana. He was a truck driver for many years.
He was born May 7, 1967, in Paris, the son of Leland R. and Sue (Green) Humphrey.
Survivors include his parents, Leland Humphrey of Paris and Sue Humphrey of Terre Haute, Indiana; a daughter, Emillee Humphrey (Bobby Butterfield) of Paris; a sister, Sherry Humphrey of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a granddaughter, Brynlee Humphrey; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Humphrey attended Lake Land College and Indiana State University. He was active in Paris Elks Bowling for a number of years. Greg enjoyed going on cruises and being outdoors, especially motorcycling, camping, horseback riding, and spending time at the beach.
For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Edgar County 4-H or to the Edgar County Animal Shelter.
A public memorial service will be announced at a later date. Templeton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
