PARIS, Ill. - Glenda Sue Ludington, 54, of Paris, passed away at 5:24 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at her residence. She was a former secretary for Paris District 95 at the former Vance Elementary School, Paris High School, and Carolyn Wenz Elementary School. She was born Jan. 27, 1958, in Paris, the daughter of Robert H. Tague and Kay Ann (Babb) Tague. She married Phillip R. Ludington on Feb. 14, 1998, at Lake Ridge Christian Church in Paris, and he survives.. Other survivors include her father, Robert H. Tague of Paris; two sons, Jacob Robert (Ashley) Bush of Granville, Ill., and Joseph Martin Bush of Danville, Ill.; a daughter, Jessica Lynne Bush of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a stepson, Kenneth John Ludington of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Ann Ludington of Eagan, Minn.; a brother, Robert D. Tague of Paris; a sister, Annette Waltz of Paris; and two stepgrandchildren, Tara and Isaac Ludington. She was preceded in death by her mother.. Mrs. Ludington earned her bachelor's degree in English education from Indiana State University. She will be remembered as a giving person who put the needs of others ahead of her own and dedicated her life to the service of children.. Services celebrating her life will be conducted at 11 a.m. CST Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at Templeton Funeral Home, 600 E. Court St., in Paris. Burial will follow in Edgar Cemetery.
