Gary L. Morgan, 74, of Terre Haute, Indiana, died at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017, in his residence. He was the owner of ServiceMaster in Terre Haute with 31 years of service. He was born Dec. 8, 1942, in Huntingburg, Indiana, to the late Kenneth Morgan and Goldie Lane Morgan.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Charlotte Tempel Morgan, whom he married July 15, 1967, in St. Meinrad, Indiana. Also surviving are one daughter, Sherrie (Brad) Zuchristian of Greenwood; one son, Bradlee (Lindsay) Morgan of Rockville; one brother, Kenny (Mary Ellen) Morgan of Santa Claus; one sister, Lana (Daryl) Rauscher of Palm Coast, Florida; 10 grandchildren, Brandon, Drew, Kyle, Kristopher, Kevin, Jocelyn, Kaitlyn, Issac, Morgan and Jonathan; and five great-grandchildren, Aubrie, Makenzie, Karson, Bentley and Jase.

He was a graduate of Huntingburg High School. He served with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Rockville Christian Church and the World Gospel Church. He was past president of the Kiwanis Club, and served on the Salvation Army board and Meals on Wheels board. An avid bowler, he bowled two 300 games. He enjoyed outdoor activities, boating, hunting, fishing, scuba diving and motorcycles.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at World Gospel Church, 900 Gardendale Road, Terre Haute, with Pastor Alfy Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Terre Haute. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church.
