Terre Haute, IN - TERRE HAUTE - In loving memory of Francis "Frank" Willard Smith of Terre Haute, Indiana; passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on March 3, 1935 in Terre Haute, Frank was a lifelong resident of the community he loved. He married his beloved wife, Jeane, in December 1959 and the two shared 65 years of marriage built on love, respect, and faith.

Frank retired in 1995 from Pfizer Inc. in Terre Haute after a dedicated tenure, and he was a lifelong Catholic whose faith was central to his life.

He was a devoted husband, a proud father, a trusted mentor and friend, and the Rock and hero of his family. Known for his great moral fortitude, he modelled generosity, kindness, strength, honesty, and integrity in every part of his life.

Frank is survived by his loving wife Jeane; his sons, Frank (Kathy), John David (Leesa), and Greg (Lynn); and grandchildren, Cody, Nolan, Fiona, Jaden, Kelsey, and Ciara; along with sisters-in-law, Marilyn Davis and Linda Smith; and several nieces and nephews who remember him fondly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willard; his mother, Opal; and his brothers, Jack, Bill, Tom, and Jim.

Frank's legacy of steadfast love, unwavering integrity, and faithful service will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

May he rest in peace.
