Kay was born on September 29, 1942 in Terre Haute, Indiana to John E. Smith and Rosemary (Klein) Smith.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating.
