Eva Suzette Treash Obituary
Brazil, Indiana - BRAZIL - Eva Suzette Treash, 71, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at her home, on April 10, 2021.
Sue. Suzy Q. Sister Sue. Mom. Mamaw. You never gave up on anything, including us. You always did everything with everyone else in mind... never yourself. You loved every one of your family completely, selflessly and lavishly. We were all your favorite. You made us feel so special. You believed in us. You put every ounce of your heart and soul into launching us into this world with every expectation of an amazing life. You sacrificed so much. You worked so hard. You imprinted so much on our hearts through your example and your fierce determination and unconditional love. Never lie. Never give up. Always think of others. Believe in yourself. Work hard. Love harder. You showed such genuine interest in the lives of your grandchildren. You seemed captivated by and in awe of each of them and did that ever make them feel loved! We are all better people because of you. Thank you.
Sue's legacy of hard work included holding 3 jobs at one time, including a long career at Columbia House. She would often leave for work as early as 3 a.m. to drive slowly on icy roads to get to work safely and still on time, never missing a day of work, sick or not. While working, she went back to school and got a degree as a medical assistant, where she served women and children.
In addition to serving her family and working, Sue was a mentor and tutor for elementary-aged children. She was a member of First Christian Church and just this week enjoyed singing about her God... who is ALWAYS GOOD (a song she learned and loved by Andrew Peterson).
Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years George; her parents Bob and Betty Miller; sisters Linda Dowers, Bobbie McGuigin and Janet Camp; son Wesley Treash; daughter Janet Mustard; son-in-law Brad Staley; and grandson Christopher Treash; and great-grandson Owen.
She is survived by her sister Maggie Dowers; daughters Pam Buck, Elaine Staley, and Kay (Steve) Mattox; and sons Tom (Sherri) Buck, Dale (Christine) Treash, and Bruce (Stacy) Treash; as well as many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Brittany, Jaden, Eli, Chris, Camden, Cassie, Leah, Carlee, Ella, Cole, Jessica, Nathan, Madison, Will, Rosie, Raymond, Trent, Kaleb, Marie, Eddie, Zack, Lauren, Mason, Shelley, Bradley, Lonnie, Miranda, Shane, Garrett, Kelley, Wyatt, Emily, Tyler, Nora, Eliza, Heather, Wesley, J.R., Matthew, Hunter, Makayla, Ahziah, Maleya, Baylee, Tori, and Brooks.
