Eva Elizabeth Conley, 82, passed away Oct. 9, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones. Eva was born in Charleston, W.Va., on April 18, 1936, to Evelyn (Effinger) and Bill Murphy.

Eva worked for many years as a long distance telephone operator for GTE. Gardening, crafts, cards, and her grand-babies were Eva's joy. She was an excellent cook and masterful homemaker.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bob Conley; and her brother, Mike Murphy.

Survivors include her two sets of twins, Roger Conley (Taylor) of Ponte Verda Beach, Fla., Christine McCormick, Patrick Conley (Karen), and Patricia Weir, all of Terre Haute; her brother, Don Murphy (Janet); her daughter-in-law, Annie Conley; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be at Mattox-Wood Funeral Home with interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hopebridge Foundation Terre Haute Autism Therapy Center, 4126 S. 7th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47802 and Hospice of the Wabash Valley, 400 8th Avenue, Terre Haute, IN 47804
