Enos J. "Jim" Weir, 75, of Hymera, IN passed away at 10:46 P.M. Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born November 17, 1946 in Terre Haute, IN to Almond L. Weir and Christine (Rutledge) Weir.
Jim married Donna (House) Weir; she passed away on February 2, 2014.
Survivors include his son, Vance Weir (Lisa) of Hymera, IN; grandchildren, Tara Williams, Jessica Tryon; great-grandchildren, Tayln Williams, Rylee Tryon, Nevaeh Williams, Ella Cuttlif; sister-in-law, Carol Weir of Hymera, IN; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Danny Weir.
Jim enjoyed working on and selling cars and lawn mowers. He attended the Southern Baptist Church in Hymera. He loved playing cards with his buddies. Jim enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN. Visitation is scheduled from 5 to 8 P.M. Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the funeral home. Services are immediately following at 8 P.M. with Pastor David Smith and Pastor Kenon Bowling officiating. In keeping with Jim's wishes cremation will be scheduled.
