Elizabeth E. (Betty) McKenzie, 87, of Terre Haute, and formerly of Macclenny, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Southwood Health and Rehabilitation. Betty was born in Terre Haute, on Oct. 15, 1928, the daughter of the late Raymond and Rose Schofstall.

Betty was a retired LPN, she had worked in Terre Haute and retired from

Northeast Florida State Hospital in Macclenny.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by children, Robert McKenzie, and Connie Day; brothers, Edward Schofstall and Darcy Schofstall; sister, Dora Setty: and stepbrother, Bill Wiles.

She is survived by her children, Mary Lauramore of Richmond, Va., Debra Smith of Terre Haute, Doretta Gray of New Port News, Va., and Jack McKenzie of New Kent, Va.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
