Elizabeth Lane McCarter, 59, of Terre Haute, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at her residence. Elizabeth was born in Terre Haute, on May 18, 1957, the daughter of the late David and Duretta (Sheese) McCarter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Helen McCarter. She is survived by her daughters, Faith M. McCarter and Lynn Fagin, both of Terre Haute; brothers, David McCarter (Sheilla Wright) of Cloverdale, George McCloud of Terre Haute, Shawn (Gina) McCarter of Milton, Fla.; sisters, Kimberly (Richard) Sanders of Rosedale and Mari Romas of Brazil; grandchildren, Ellen Ellinger, Espn McCloud, Taylor Fagin, and Zoi McCloud; and great-grandchildren, Linsey and Leah Ellinger.
A celebration of life will be Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Kings Harvest Foursquare Church, 1801 Harding St., at 11 a.m. with the Rev Dennis L. Leek officiating. Visitation will be from 9 until 11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials.
