Doris Evelyn (Harmon) Stinson of West Terre Haute, IN passed away peacefully in her own home the morning of Saturday, July 16, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born June 16, 1928 at West Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Dan and Zella M. (Middleton) Harmon.

Surviving are two daughters, Sheri (John) Kastigar of West Terre Haute, IN and Lisa (Terry) Welsh of Marshall, IL; grandchildren, Jared (Lori) Kastigar of West Terre Haute, IN, Tashina (Robert) Baer of Venice, FL, Cody (Lindsay) Welsh of Marshall, IL and Brooke (Jeffrey) Fattal of Glen Ellyn, IL; great-grandchildren, Grady, Rocco, Stella, Sienna, Bella, Vivienne, Van and Leyla; and a brother, Don Harmon of West Terre Haute, IN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Luciel Siverly and Alfair Ramsey; and three brothers, Floyd McClaskey, Norman Harmon and Danny Harmon.

She loved to dance, play cards, and attend fish fries, but the most important thing in her life which gave her the most pleasure was her family.

Private graveside services will be held at the Forsythe Cemetery, rural Marshall, IL with Pastor Joe Irwin officiating. For those desiring, memorial contributions made be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Online condolences are being accepted by Pearce Funeral Home at:
