Doris Jean Stepp, 64, of Marshall, IL passed away April 23, 2023.

Doris was born on June 26, 1958, the youngest child of Woodrow and Elsie (Douglas) Stepp of Marshall.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Lois Lynn Kemp of Terre Haute, IN, Patricia Ann McDaniel (Donald) of West Union, IL, and Peggy Sue Stepp of Marshall, IL; and her brother, Dow E. Stepp of Marshall, IL.

Doris is survived by five brothers, George Thomas Stepp of Rose Hill, IL, and Robert Stepp, Charles Edward Stepp (Judy), Denzil W. (Cheryl) Stepp and Richard Allen (Nancy) Stepp, all of Marshall, IL; two sisters, Linda Kay McMyne of Marshall, IL and Rosa Lee Coris of Kingsport, TN; and one brother-in-law, Bill Kemp of Terre Haute, IN. Doris is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Doris enjoyed visiting with family and friends, especially outdoors. She loved playing with the young nieces and nephews and was always ready to play a card game or dominoes.

Services in honor of her life will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 2, at Pearce Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Duke officiating. Burial will be in the Dunlap Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time on Tuesday.
