ROCKVILLE- Donna M. Eldridge, 84, of Rockville, went home to be with the Lord at 2:50 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Clinton Gardens. She was a homemaker. She was born May 29, 1933, in Crawfordsville, to the late Everett Sowers and Edna Cline Sowers.

Her husband of 29 years, Walter C. Eldridge, whom she married Nov. 12, 1960, passed away Dec. 22, 1989.

Survivors include five sons, Dan (Joyce) Harkrider, Daryl (Deb) Harkrider, Bob (Nancy) Eldridge, David (Michelle) Eldridge and Mark (Karen) Eldridge; three daughters, Deb Jones, Denise Cummings and Rebecca (Tom) Pearman; four stepchildren, Jack (Rose) Eldridge, Chuck (Melissa) Eldridge, Martha Eldridge and John (Rita) Eldridge; 63 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by twin daughters, Maude and Madeline; a son, Steve Eldridge; stepdaughter, Kay Carouthers; granddaughter, Jesse Eldridge; and grandson, Chad Harkrider.She was a 1951 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. She was formerly employed by Billie Creek Village and Rockville Elementary School cafeteria. She was a member of the Rockville Christian Church and Friendship Sunday school class and sang in the church choir. She was also a member of Christian Women's Fellowship, Extension Homemakers, Bunco Club and was active with 4-H.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., Rockville, with the Rev. Greg Robbins officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Marshall.
