Donio "Tony" Valle Sr., 80, of Rockville, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Meadows Manor North Nursing Home in Terre Haute. He was born February 3, 1940, in Calumet City, Illinois, the son of Domenico and Giovannia Fusco Valle. Donio married Carrie Lou Tidwell on February 3, 1962 in Warrior, Alabama.

Donio is survived by his wife, Carrie; 4 children, Jay Dwayne Valle (Angelique) of Rockville; Sharon Denise Valle of Richmond, Kentucky; Lisa Michelle Martin (Steve) of Rockville and Donio Valle Jr. (Kim Stevens) of Clinton; 5 grandchildren, Kyle Troutwine, Brittany Austin, Tevin Troutwine, Kayla Martin, and Skyler Valle; and 2 great-grandchildren, Bryson Joy and Rhory Troutwine. He is also survived by 3 brothers, John, Nick and Dominick Valle; 3 sisters, Teresa Clark, Vicky Gloza, and Jenny Proto; and sister-in-law Sharon K. Franklin.

Donio is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angela Marie; 6 brothers, Gabriel, Joe, Angelo, Patrick, Victor, and Louis Valle; and 3 sisters, Marie Dunn, Emily Hammond and Rose Kroncke.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, March 27, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 East High Street, Rockville. A private funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Bill Kroncke officiating. Burial will follow in Beacon Hill Cemetery south of Rockville. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date.
