Donald  Johnson
Donald W. Johnson, 73, of Clinton, passed away Saturday September 21, 2019 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born December 2, 1945 in Terre Haute to William "Howard" Johnson and Gertrude Robinson Johnson.
Don loved wood working, working on cars and camping with family and friends. He was an avid Coco-Cola Collector and loved watching NASCAR and Drag Racing. Most importantly he loved spending time and tormenting his grandchildren aka "The Monkeys".
He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Esther Morgan Voll. Don is survived by the love of his life of over 54 years, Ladonna "Donna" Johnson. Two daughters; Connie Wells and her husband John, Lori O'Connor and her husband John and one son, Kevin Johnson and his wife Carmen. Seven Grandchildren: "The Monkeys" Lydia Bridgewater (Derrick), Johnathan Wells, Josua Johnson, Kourtney Johnson, John David O'Connor, Jennifer O'Connor and Joseph O'Connor. One great Grandson Logan Bridgewater. He is also survived by his lifelong best friend Mike Gwin and his wife Karyn. One brother Raymond Johnson and a sister, Patricia Hartweck and her husband Ken along with several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Tuesday September 24, 2019 at 7 p.m. at Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Ind. 47807. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time at the Funeral Home. Pastor Tim Voll will be officiating. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the National Muscular Sclerosis Society. Online condolences may be made at:
