TERRE HAUTE - Dennis R. Miller, 69, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away at home, unexpectedly, on November 21, 2021.

Dennis was born on September 8, 1952, the son of Robert T. and Wilma Jean (Hunsicker) Miller. He graduated from Garfield High School with the class of 1970.

Dennis was drafted into the United States Army and served as a truck driver for the military in Hawaii. As a civilian he continued his trucking career working as an owner operator leased to Liquid Transport Corporation for many years.

In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing but much of his life was spent on the road.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Wilma Miller, and a sister Deanna McClara.

Dennis leaves behind his brother Leslie Miller (Lisa) of Brazil; nieces and nephew: Whittney (Matt) Rains, Mallory (John) Hamblin, and Jesse Miller (Yesenia Grijalva Tapia); and great-nieces and nephews: Callie, Carter, Lilly, and Jax.

Visitation will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil, IN 47834, on Monday, November 29, 2021, from 5-7pm. Burial will be held at Roselawn Cemetery, at a later date.
