Dee Ann Maxwell-Carter, 68, of Terre Haute, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 28, 2016. Dee was born in Terre Haute on May 11, 1948, the daughter of the late Ralph Maxwell and Sarah Tuberosa. She was a retired teacher's aide, working at Otter Creek Middle School. Dee was preceded in death by her parents; and grandsons, Travis and Trevor Hines. She is survived by daughters, Jill Hines (Chris Flack) and Robyn (George) Thompson; son, Todd Carter; grandchildren, Brittany (Andy) Norton, A.J. Hines, Linda Johnson, Kaylee Hines (Brandon Pressey) and Levi Otto; brothers, Jerry (Judy) Maxwell and Robert (Phyllis) Maxwell; five great-grandchildren; six neices and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 3150 N. 17th St. Family and friends are welcome.
