Fishers, Indiana - FISHERS - David Lee Kirchner, 62, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, following a battle with cancer.

David was born on March 3, 1958, in Brazil, Indiana, the son of Jack and Loretta (Rogers) Kirchner. He graduated from Staunton High School with the class of 1976 as the class Valedictorian. He graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in accounting. David married Tove Moore on September 12, 1981. She preceded him in death in 2004. David spent a 40-year-long career with Sackrider and Company.

David enjoyed playing golf and was a huge Cardinals baseball fan. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and was the guitarist for the Rural Route 16 band.

David was preceded in death by his father Jack Kirchner and his wife Tove Kirchner.

David is survived by his mother Loretta Kirchner of Brazil; his 3 daughters: Mallory Blunk and husband Corey of Fishers, Maggie Chumley and husband Nathanial of Indianapolis, and Madison Will and husband Mike of Fishers; grandchildren: Charlotte Blunk, Claire Blunk, Simon Will, and Titus Will; sisters: Diane Smith and husband Kenny of Brazil, Darla Kirchner of Brazil, and Denise Brush and husband John of Brazil; and longtime companion Cassie Conner of Indianapolis; as well as several extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be at McKinley Hill Church of Christ, 10700 N. County Road 300 East, Brazil, IN 47834 on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 4:00-8:00pm. Services will be held at the church, on Tuesday, at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery, Waterworks Road, Brazil, IN.
