Rockville, Indiana - Danny Price, 71, of Rockville, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on June 1, 1952, to Willard Price and Alberta Montgomery Price.

Those preceding Danny in death are his parents, and his sisters Pam Price and Kathy Jane Moore.

Danny is survived by his wife Kathy Penn Price, son Jason Price and his companion Laura Baird of Montezuma, daughter Sarah Embert of Rockville, sisters Karen Phillips (Wayne) of Clinton and Kimberly VanLannen (Jeff) of Shepardsville, and brothers Randy Price of Clinton and Kevin Price and his companion Glenda Griffin Howell of Paris, IL. Also surviving are his grandchildren Emily Price, Nicholas Schmidt, Jordan Price, Nathan Price, and Bridgette Adams; and three great-grandchildren.

Danny was a member of Laborers Union #204 and Teamsters Union #135, both out of Terre Haute. He was a member of Immanuel Southern Baptist Church, and an NRA member. Danny did not know a stranger, was a friend to all and would help anyone. Danny was one rough, tough guy with a heart that would melt like butter.

Visitation will be at Immanuel Southern Baptist Church, 3932 US 36, Rockville, IN 47872 on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Service at 2:00pm with Pastor Mark Houvenagle officiating. Cremation was chosen.
