BRAZIL - Dale Edward Wilson, 80, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at Union Hospital, in Terre Haute, Indiana following a brief illness.
Dale was born on December 9, 1940, in Brazil, the son of Charles and Rebecca (Plumb) Wilson. He graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1958.
He worked for American Vitrified Product Company for 13 years, Pillsbury Company in Terre Haute for 20 years and in New Albany, Indiana for 10 years. He retired at the age of 58.
Dale enjoyed fishing, shooting, reloading shells, hunting, and animals of all kinds.
He was a member of Eagles 274, Masonic Lodge 541, Carbon Masonic Lodge 529, and an honorary member of 2 Masonic lodges in Terre Haute.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents Charles L. and Rebecca Wilson; and a brother Dennis Wilson.
Dale is survived by his wife Ruth (Biggs) Wilson, a daughter Rebecca Jane Wilson, a son Charles E. Wilson, and a sister Dorothy Wilson Allen of California.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave., Brazil, IN 47834, on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 11 am until 1 pm. Services will follow at 1 pm with Earl Hutcheson officiating. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery. To share a memory visit:
