Panama City, Florida - Brigadier General (Ret) Dale K. Snider Jr., known to family and friends as "DK," passed away April 8, 2026, in Panama City, Florida, at the age of 80. A retired U.S. Air Force Brigadier General, Indiana Air National Guard Adjutant General for Air, and 33-year US Airways Captain, General Snider devoted his life to aviation and service to his country, earning both the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Legion of Merit Medal. He is survived by his wife Diana, children Chris Snider, Dana Gray, Sheri Brown, and Debbie Miller, and 10 grandchildren. His beloved granddaughter Andrea Miller, sadly lost at the age of 18, will forever hold a cherished place in the hearts of all who knew her. Visitation will be held Friday, May 8, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Funeral Home in Indianapolis, with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. and a Military Honors Ceremony at 2:30 p.m. at the Field of Valor Mausoleum.
