I am shocked and saddened to hear of this loss. I had not seen Connie since the summer after our graduation until she attended a class reunion. She couldn't remember my name at first, but she remembered me. She hugged and held on silently for awhile, letting that bond speak for itself. Life is short and the struggles are real. Thank you for the memories. My condolences to family and friends. You will always be that smiling, sparkling majorette.
