Charlotte B. Harpold, 80, of Clinton, Indiana, died at 3:48 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Union Hospital Clinton. She was a retired customer service representative at Columbia House in Terre Haute with 18 years of service. She was also employed by Gooch's Dairy Frost in Rockville. She was born April 29, 1935, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Norval Barnes and Wilma Myers Barnes.

Her husband of 46 years, Robert L. Harpold, whom she married October 8, 1954, in Bloomingdale, died May 23, 2001. Survivors include two sons, Rick (Diana) Harpold of Rockville and Jim Bob Harpold of Rockville; two daughters, Kay (Brad Ream) Harpold of Rockville and Karen (Jeff) Crist of West Terre Haute; one brother, Dale W. (Mary Jane) Barnes of Rockville; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew; and a large extended family. She was preceded in death a granddaughter, Angela Kirk; a great-grandson, Brenden Kirk; an infant sister, Dorothy Helen Barnes; and a foster brother, Charles Jeffries.

She was a 1953 graduate of Raccoon Township (Bridgeton) High School. She was a member of the Rockville Christian Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard St., Rockville, with the Rev. Perry Mager officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockville Cemetery.
