Charles Rodriguez, 82, of Terre Haute, and formerly of Lorain, Ohio, was born into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Signature Inn Health Care. Charles was born in Lorain, on Oct. 11, 1933, the son of the late Leandaro and Julia (Ortiz) Rodriguez.

He was a retired auto worker with the Ford Motor Company, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lorain. He enjoyed concerts, karaoke, and spending time with friends and family.

Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Roy and Leondro; and sister, Margrita Rodriguez.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Senovia (Mendiola) Rodriguez; children, Christina (John) Jones, Carlos Rodriguez, and Theresa (Jason) Vanwinkle; grandchildren, Miguel, Matthew, Jessica, Tessa, Christopher, Sierra, Rosales, Nicholas, Mercedes, Alyssianna, Adrianna, and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Thalia, Isaiah, Maddie, Elijah, Cecilia, Dominic, Elyse, Alexia, Brianna, Madilynn, Gabriella, Nathan, Tristan, Jack, and Hanna; brothers, Frank and Rudy Rodriguez; and sisters, Maria (Raul) Agosto and Anita Rodriguez.

Mass of Christian burial will take place Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2405 S. Seventh St., at 12 noon with the Rev. Fr. Rick Ginther celebrating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 noon. Memorial contributions to the family in Charles's name would be appreciated.
