Charles Edward Robbins, 85, passed away February 24, 2025 at Danville Regional Rehabilitation surrounded by his family. Charles was born to the late William and Ola (Arnette) Robbins in Sullivan County on March 4, 1939.

Charles attended Brazil High School. After the death of his father, Charles took over the family farm. On January 17, 1970 Charles married Patricia Quilliam. Charles also worked at Alcan while taking care of the family farm. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and woodworking. He even built the house he raised his family in. His garden was his passion. It was over an acre; he was often giving his produce away or canning. He also loved bird watching, he would sit outside and watch the birds, or even in front of the window with his country music playing in the background. Charles loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Charles was a Past Master of the Carbon Masonic Lodge.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Betty, Ruby, Ruth, Doris, Dave, Tom, Bob, Marion "Skip", William, and Shirley, two children, Charles Robbins Jr. and Rhonda Shellhammer.

Charles is survived by his wife, Patricia Robbins, three children, Martin Robbins (Brenda), Charetta Coffman (Jeff), and Michael Robbins (Jenny), six grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Sunday, March 2nd from 2-6 P.M. at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 East National Avenue in Brazil. A funeral service will be held Monday March 3rd at 1 P.M. at the funeral home. Friends and family may visit from 12 P.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
