Rockville, Indiana - ROCKVILLE - Charles "Ted" Marsolf of Rockville passed away peacefully on January 19, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Ted was born on August 29, 1935, the oldest child of Charles and Fern Marsolf in Hutchinson, KS. Ted is survived by Phyllis, his wife of 62 years.

Ted served the public for many years, serving both in the Kansas Air National Guard and as a police officer at Indiana State University (from which he retired). He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Clinton, IN, the Parke-Vermillion F.O.P. and the North Star Masonic Lodge in Wichita, KS. For years, he enjoyed being a part of the Parke County 4-H Program.

Other survivors include his sons: Chris (Katharine) of Rockville, Bret (Kathy) of Champaign, IL, and Mitch (Shelby) of Rockville; four grandchildren, Amy (Jamie) Rader, Cole (Missy) Marsolf, Alaina (Tim) Kent and Scout Marsolf; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Vivian (Roger) Batt of Haysville, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Merle, Jerry, Gail and Virgil.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 21, at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
