Charles D. Fisher Sr., 81, of Clinton, and formerly of Rosedale died at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born Aug. 5, 1934, in Parke County, to the late Lester Fisher and Nova Overpeck Fisher.

He retired from Anaconda Aluminum Company in Terre Haute and Lark Commercial Painting of Rosedale.

Survivors include two daughters, Crystal (Terry) Land of Dugger and Renee (Opie Wall) Eichhorst of Dugger; one son, Charles D. (Louise Robison) Fisher Jr. of Dugger; one brother, Kenneth Fisher of Carmi, Ill.; three grandchildren, Hollie (Darren) Near, Charity (Greg) Wilkes and Ali Eichhorst; six great-grandchildren; special friend, Pam Dyer of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tara Eichhorst; and a brother, Glen Fisher.

He was a member of the Clinton American Legion Post 140 and was an avid trap shooter.
