TERRE HAUTE - Holly Carol Large, 83, of Terre Haute passed away March 12, 2025 in Gibson Family Hospice Center. Holly was born on December 22, 1941, in Buffalo, NY to Theodore and Martha (Shore) Pohlman.
Holly is survived by her sons: Carl Jerry "Rocky" Large, Jr. (Nicole) and Steven L. Large; daughters: Carla Denny (Will) and Misty Evans (Lee); sister Debbie Dobberfuhl (Steven); 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her significant other, Ed Akers; and her two loving dogs, Snuggles and Buddy.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carl J. Large, Sr. and son Troy A. Large.
Holly was a 20-year member of the Moose Lodge 1009. She was also a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Goldwing Riders of America.
Visitation will be Friday, March 14, 2025 from 3:00 until 7:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 7:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Stacy Wagle officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Roselawn Memorial Park.
