Farmersburg, Indiana - Bruce S. Martindale, 78, of Farmersburg, Indiana passed away at 9:13 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2025 in Cobblestone Crossings Health Campus surrounded by his loving family.

He was born June 8, 1947 in Sullivan, Indiana to Wade Martindale and Juanita (Goodwin) Martindale.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Karol (Zippay) Martindale of Farmersburg, Indiana who he married on March 31, 1973; son, Broch Martindale (Jennifer) of Jamestown, Indiana; sister, Bethann Toy (Mark) of Montgomery, Indiana; and nieces and nephews, Brad Martindale, Brian Martindale, Melessa Payne, Luke Brackney, Sarah Brackney, and Mary Clare Knowles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Richard Martindale.

Bruce graduated from Sullivan High School and attended Ohio State. He owned and operated County Line Flowers and Greenhouse in Farmersburg, Indiana and County Line House of Flowers in Terre Haute, Indiana with his wife Karol. Bruce attended and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Terre Haute, Indiana. Bruces love and passion was in the floral business. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2620 Ohio Blvd., Terre Haute, IN 47803. Services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Laura Applegate officiating. In keeping with Bruce's wishes, following services, cremation will be scheduled.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Bruce to Trinity Lutheran Church Accessibility & Support Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
